Whether you’re planning an elopement or microwedding, or if your guest list is pages long, you might be looking to fill your reception with a variety of wedding centerpieces — garland here, bud vases there… Here are four types we see (and make) a lot of.
Even without a majestic green backdrop (as pictured below), a garland wedding centerpiece brings a certain bucolic charm to the table. For Caroline and Matthew’s wedding, we wove together lots of foliage, textured florets, and full-bloom roses to resemble a big, overgrown garden.

We’ve seen these pretty-meets-practical spreads trending in lots of inquiries for the year to come. We’re fans of ones with ample fruit, for the vibrancy. Keep the pickings to the orchard, or augment the array with charcuterie.

A row of smaller arrangements feels abundant, while pulling focus to individual flowers. For this Lace Factory wedding, we reflected the bright and warm design colorway with a cream and toffee floral base. Then we added a few blush-toned splashes with pincushion scabiosa and hand-dyed carnations.

If you ask us, a good compote arrangement all but bursts from its vessel—with far-reaching foliage and petals aplenty. Its proportions make it an obvious choice for a round table, like so. For their Glen Manor reception, Aleah and Max envisioned bright, color-packed florals befitting such a lush form.
