This eclectic, color-blocked wedding has a special place in our hearts as the biggest artistic challenge we’ve undertaken to date. We’ll get into all the exquisite details, but first we’ll just say: Don’t be afraid to ask us for whatever you’re dreaming up—no matter how far-fetched you think it sounds. Because chances are, we’re game. And there’s nothing we love more than making those dreams come true.
Natalie and Matthew said I do before a rainbow half-circle built into the grass with flowers from all over the world. It was lush, it was bold, and it set the tone for the polychromatic floral motif this beautiful day was packed with.
You’re not alone if you’ve never heard of this one before; it was a unique specialty request from the bride. And however delighted you imagine we were to make it a reality, multiply that by a hundred. To build it out, we started with a chuppah frame. Then we strung hundreds of flowers on fishing line to hang from that frame, topped with plenty of smilax foliage. The result was real popular with guests, and so many great photos came of Natalie’s brilliant design.
Another big hit: escort cards in bud-vase form. Guests found their names on vibrant little flower arrangements, which they brought to their tables to add to the centerpieces. It was as functional as it was joy-inducing, and we’re hoping it trends for many weddings to come.
Okay, so get this: Every table had a unique monochromatic design, based off all the bridesmaids’ dress colors. That means all the flowers, candles, and linens were totally different! On top of that, we incorporated fruit of each color in with the floral designs to achieve some sumptuous feast vibes. Then—we’re not done—each bridesmaid came out with a different specialty cake matching her dress for each table! Truly, the creativity that went into this eclectic, color-blocked wedding was unmatched.
If guests liked that hanging flower photo booth, they may have been excited to see its big sister of an install inside the tent. Straight over the checkerboard dance floor were…so many dangling blooms and fluttering leaves. This install was nothing short of ethereal by day. And when the light was low and the music high, it brought some stellar ambiance to the dance party that soon broke out.
